The inspiration for this dress was a beautiful spring day and the feeling of being as light and soft as a feather. The gown is made from layers of the finest Italian silk chiffon, beaded with Japanese seed beads and vintage Swarovski crystal appliqués. Each seed bead was carefully sewn on one by one, on the bustier and around the hem of the dress. The intricate bead work took approximately 95 hours to finish. In order to give good support, boning was added to the bustier as well as hook and eye instead of a zipper.
