I was
fortunate enough to snag a terrific deal on a beautiful Jill Sander camelhair
coat.
The only problem with it was that with the "great deal"came a coat
two sizes too big.
Not knowing where to turn or who to trust with such an exquisite garment,
I happened upon Ana's studio. From the very start she was honest and friendly
and utterly talented as was obvious from the gorgeous handmade wedding gowns
that graced her studio. Not only did Ana gently take the coat apart and expertly
cut it to the right proportions but she magically managed to get it all back
together looking just as lovely as the original!
I would trust her with anything from the most complicated hand beading of a special occasion dress to the simplest of alterations...she is a genius!

When Ana told me she could create the dress of my dreams and that I would
not be disappointed she was absolutely right. Ana and her daughter Jacquie
met with me about once a week and involved me in the process. They were
so easy to work with. We talked about every detail; it was important to Ana
that she knew exactly what I wanted. She put so much time and attention
into my dress, and it showed.
In the end, I had a masterpiece. My wedding dress was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. When people ask me where I got it they cannot believe it was handmade right in Yarmouth, Maine. It's a little treasure that I hope others find!

When
I was getting ready to have Thomas christened, I wanted to have his
gown made from my wedding dress and the buttons from my husband's Maine
State dress uniform. I was looking for a heirloom piece that would hold our
family's history for my son. The design that Ana came up with for the gown,
cap and shoes was stunning. It was original, old world inspired and drew countless
compliments at the ceremony. I only wish I had known Ana when my older son
was christened.
