Ana Ayala has been interested in fashion since she was twelve years old. She began hand tailoring more than twenty years ago as a young apprentice for a well-known couturier in her native country of El Salvador. She obtained her degree in Fashion Design from LaSalle College in the sophisticated and stylish city of Montreal. Since then, she has worked in the fashion industry for some of the best companies in the USA. Her professional experience includes working as a Senior Pattern Maker for Patagonia, Senior Technical Designer for Eastern Mountain Sport, Manager of Product Development and Quality Control for Rives Apparel, Senior Technical Designer and Master Pattern Maker for LL Bean.

Ana started her career making patterns for special occasions and evening dresses working with soft and delicate fabrics. She has also worked with technical, high performance fabrics for a line of men’s and women’s active outerwear. She learned and broadened her skills by working on casual wear designs. This has helped Ana master the necessary skills required for tailoring, cutting and fitting a broad range of designs from soft delicate bridal gowns to a casual pair of pants. Because she understands individual shapes, Ana has established a reputation for immaculate attention to detail and fit.

In 2003, Ana joined forces with her daughter Jacqueline to open Casablanca Couture Studio. Jacquie studied Fashion Marketing and prior to moving to Maine held the position of General Manager for a Canadian designer in Montreal and Toronto.

All garments are made to your exact body shape and measurements. Details will be thoroughly discussed starting from fabric and color to trims and accessories. The designs are aimed to make clients feel beautiful and comfortable.
